Privacy
This website collects very little. Here’s what, why, and how long we keep it.

Browsing the site
You don’t need an account to use this site, and we don’t use advertising or tracking cookies. If you choose light or dark mode, that choice is saved in your own browser.
Marking an event “Interested?”
When you tap Interested?, your browser keeps a cookie holding a random code, so the button remembers your choice. We store that code with the event to count how many people are interested. It isn’t linked to your name or anything else about you. The cookie lasts a year; clearing your browser’s cookies removes it.
Requesting an event
The event request form asks for your idea. Your name and an email address or phone number are optional; give them only if you’d like a reply. We use them only to answer your request, and they’re erased automatically when the request is closed. Closed requests are removed after a year.
Preventing spam
To limit how many requests one connection can send, we keep a scrambled, one-way version of your connection’s internet address for one day. It can’t be turned back into the address.
Error reports
If a page breaks, the site may send a technical report to Sentry, the service we use to find and fix problems. It includes the error, the page and your browser type, never your name, contact details or internet address. Sentry may store reports outside Canada.
Our staff
Staff sign in to a private area of this site. For them we keep their name, username, time clock records and a security log of sign-ins and changes, including the internet address used. Time records are kept for at least three years, as Alberta’s employment standards require.
Where it’s stored
Our database is hosted in Canada, and the website runs on Vercel’s servers in Montréal. Like any web host, Vercel keeps short technical logs of visits (such as internet addresses) to keep the site running and secure. We don’t sell or share personal information, and we never send marketing email without your separate permission.
Other sites
Links to Deckbox, Collectr, Google Maps, Facebook, Instagram and Discord take you to sites with their own privacy policies.
Questions or requests
