Our story
A local game store since 1987, built around the people who play at our tables.
Keith Foster opened Treasure Chest Games in Grimshaw, Alberta, in 1987. The store soon made its way to Lethbridge, where it has served collectors and players for nearly thirty years.
In May 2024 we opened in our current home on the city’s west side, on Mount Burke Boulevard. Today we focus on Magic: The Gathering, Union Arena, Pokémon, Warhammer and Dungeons & Dragons, with the dice, sleeves, paints and accessories to go with them.
Most nights there’s something happening, from casual Commander to tournaments and paint nights. When there’s room, players of any game are welcome to use our play space during open hours.
What we play
- Magic: The Gathering
- Singles, sealed product and Commander most days of the week.
- Union Arena
- Store tournaments, release events and singles.
- Pokémon
- Singles and play.
- Warhammer
- Warhammer Saturdays and paint nights.
- Dungeons & Dragons
- Dice, books and room for your group at the table.
